Lorenzo Breda is an Italian composer, arranger, guitarist, and music teacher. He began playing guitar at the age of 12, and during high school, he gained his first professional experiences as both a guitarist and composer. Following high school, he pursued studies in sound design and performance at the Conservatory of Milan.

In 2018, Lorenzo graduated in Jazz Guitar Performance from the Conservatory "A. Vivaldi" in Alessandria, Italy. During his time there, he had the privilege of studying under esteemed musicians such as Dado Moroni, Eleonora Strino, Paolo Silvestri, and Cettina Donato. Concurrently, he toured across Italy, performing in clubs and festivals with various groups spanning different genres.

In July 2018, Lorenzo received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied Film and Media Scoring as well as Jazz Composition. At Berklee, he had the opportunity to play, compose, and arrange for a variety of ensembles and genres, with a particular focus on film music and jazz. The Jazz Composition department selected him to study with guest artist Billy Childs. Additionally, Lorenzo studied with renowned instructors including Ayn Inserto, Claudio Ragazzi, Andreas Bjork, Sheldon Mirowitz, Kurt Biederwolf, Tim Miller, Nir Felder, and Dave Santoro. He earned three division achievement awards from both the Jazz Composition and Guitar departments.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Lorenzo is actively composing music for movies and television. Among his recent accomplishments is being a finalist in the International Film Scoring Competition organized by “Accademia Chigiana”.
